I just found an old PC in a closet, but it has Windows 10. I booted it up and I have to log in (no surprise). The problem is, I cannot remember the password.
I held Shift when I hit the Restart button and it took me to the option menu. I tried booting from a USB Installation Media flash drive that I set up, and it just takes me back to the log in screen. I tried resetting the PC and it stops halfway through the process. Any help would be much appreciated.
Here is some information and specs (keep in mind it is an older computer):
- Windows 10 (previously Windows 8.1)
- Intel Core i3
- The brand is Toshiba
- The account is a local account
