Windows 10 Restoring latest files from Windows Backup using 'Restore Files' when original location unavailable

One of my drives (F) has failed. I have been backing up this drive using Windows backup and want to resore the latest versions to my C drive. As the F drive is no longer available it is no longer in the folder list to be backed up in Backup options. When I use 'Restore Files from Backup' the F files are not showing as it not on the backup list. I can see the F files on the backup disc itself but as some files have numerous versions to restore just the latest version it going to be cumbersome and time consuming. Is there any way around this?
