Windows 11 robotic glitching and computer lag when using any sort of headset that uses aux

I've been having this problem for a while now every time I plug in an aux microphone my computer lags and makes robotic sounds whilst I'm playing games. However, once I switch to headphones that use usb they work fine. I have tried a number of fixes some of which include cleaning out 3.5mm jack, setting the headset as default, a multitude of splitters and connectors, I've tried the audio splitter into usb and it still didn't work. I've bought 2 pairs of 3.5mm jack headsets to see if they worked, both of which did not. I've tried troubleshooting, disabling enhanced audio and hardware Excellerat
