Windows 11 Running compatibility appraiser from task scheduler going from win 10 to 11 - 2hrs and it's still running??

I was going to upgrade from windows 10 to 11 and security said system wasn't capatible. It was suggested I run the Microsoft Compatiblity Appraiser from task scheduler so I did. It's been 2 hours and it's still running when it should've finished in approx 10 minutes according to people. What is happening here? I saw something for upgrading to windows 10 (not 11) mentioning this a few years ago but what about from 10 to 11?
