I recently found myself using stereo sound in Windows 10 since there is no longer an option to use the 7.1 Ch with them, i have tried the Latest drives from Sades website, i tried on all my USB ports.
From what i have read in the forums, this issue happened after a certain Windows Update, and also happened to some Razors Headsets
My motherboard is a MSI 990FXA GAMING
As you can see here the 7.1 Ch option is missing, and the Headset is not properly identified.

• Asmedia® 1142 Chipset - 2x USB 3.1 ports on the back panel * These USB 3.0 ports do not support M-Flash recovery function.

• Realtek® ALC1150 Codec - 7.1-Channel High Definition Audio - Supports S/PDIF output
