Hi. I recently did a clean install of Win 11 Pro, then spent two days setting Windows up the way I like it. After, I recovered files from an online backup service (in progress). A very large number of files & folders went onto C:, the files I wanted plus thousands of small files I think are related to the browser but I'm not sure.I'm going to copy the files in Desktop, Documents, and Download to an external drive (I can do no problem) then I hope to sanitize my C: drive to get rid of all the thousands of downloaded files-to get it as close as possible to the clean install.
