Windows 11 Scam Microsoft call?

I was working on my computer then all of a sudden it was like someone took over my computer. a flashing blue message a recording your computer has been locked! could not do anything. Warned me about identity theft all the time saying they were from Microsoft headquarters. The number i called on the computer right away was garbled and I couldn't understand. They sounded of Indian heritage. then the person told me to calm down and just push the control button and my computer is back to normal, but now i am nervous to use it because of this what to do besides alert Microsoft? Also, my MacAfee sub
