When using my laptop, the screen will every few seconds freeze, then skip ahead, like the action happening in between never happened. I have updated Windows itself and all the apps in the app store. (I believe the other apps are up to date.) I tried to update the graphics driver via device manager and Dell Support Assist. No change I uninstalled a great many apps, which improved performance, but did not solve the problem. I ran windows defender offline and found something odd. The problem didn't occur during the scan. I booted into safe made and, sure enough, there was no screen skipping there
