Windows 10 SD Card works on camera but Laptops wants me to format it every time I try to use the Card Reader in the laptop

I have a 128GB Samsung SD card for my camera

My windows 10 Laptop is Asus TP300LD

I used the SanDisk Adapter for the SD card and inserted this in the card reader slot in my laptop


Unfortunately, I seem to get an error every time I insert the adaptor (with the SD card) in my laptop. It asks me to format the drive.

My camera is however able to read the SD card when inserted


I formatted my SD card once, the laptop started reading the SD card (it was empty because of the formatting)

I used the SD card in my camera for 10 min and reinserted the card in the laptop

The laptop once again asked me to format the card. I don't wish to loose the data from the card once again.

Can someone please help on how can i fix this once n for all?
