Win 10 Pro x86 32 Bit Ver 1903, just updated on old PC was visa, digital activation from Win 7
PC has a history of Windows Updates not updating or not working well if at all. Stuck on 1511 for years. Now at 1093 (hope it works).
I want to make sure I get security updates and new virus definitions, daily if available. Do not really want any new features, have already disabled and unistalled a lot of ****.
A. In Update there is a section for feature updates, lets you set to 365, does this actually defer next version for a year?
B. In Update there is a section to defer security updates, should this be set to zero?
C. Windows defender, everything appears different.
1. Is there a way to manually update virus definitions with Windows Defender?
2. How do I check to see if scans are being run?
3. How do I run a manual full scan?
