Windows 11 Seeking a Best Practice to Migrate all Apps, Data and Settings from an existing Windows 11 laptop to a new Windows 11 desktop

Hello,I have a client scenario where the client presently has a dedicated laptop for gaming. Gamers will know that these machines have very complex installations and this client has not documented anything. He has ordered a new desktop machine for gaming that will replace the laptop with a faster machine with more horsepower or whatever a gamer needs. What I would like to do is to be able to backup the existing Windows 11 machine apps, data, settings etc, and when the new machine arrives restore all those things to the new machine.
