If I place a .BAT or an .EXE in my user startup folder (%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup), they both execute correctly on startup, but if I place a shortcut to my .BAT script in my user startup folder, the shortcut will not execute on startup. My user is set to administrator, however, I need to use a shortcut because I must execute the script as an administrator and I can set this status in the shortcut properties. I am running the latest version of Widows 10, 22H2 (Build 19045.3324) I found an old article from 2014 where another person complained
