I am now running the most recent windows 10 -2004version, however this has not solved the issue.

After the automatic update to 1909 version, I noticed my pc's CPU was running very high, 90-100% there was nothing else different about the usage or programs installed so couldnt work out why.

I then restored my pc back to the earlier version 1903 to see if that made a difference, but no still have a high running CPU. Everytime I open a program or a web paghe it shoots up to 100% for a few moments then comes down, but never below 45%. I have left my pc running with pages open to see and at random times I have seen a spike in the CPU up to 75% and then it will go back down again not below 45%.

This is getting very frustrating and difficult to run some actions as the PC become sluggish. In an attempt to resolve the issue I have done complete reinstalls of windows, 3 times, but now can only ever go back to the 1909 version. So I tried last night to go ahead with the full update to the most recent version of the 2004, but as I said above still same issues.

I have also ordered up more RAM, as the PC is running with 8gb so I am upping this to 16gb in a hope this would help, but the PC was running fine before, but every bit to help!!

I am at the point at thinking of sacking windows 10 and your edge program and finding a version of windows 8.1 to install, as never had any issue with that and firefox.
