Windows 10 'Slide to shutdown' appears immediately upon turning on my Gateway laptop as soon as the Windows screen appears and then shuts it off within seconds,

Help! 'Slide to shutdown' immediately appears when turning on my laptop. It occurs the second that the Windows screen appears, and it immediately shuts down my laptop within just a second or two, giving me no chance to try to even access my settings or any other program that might allow me to find a solution. I have tried tapping on the screen and clicking it with my mouse to cancel it (on the rare occasions that it gave me an extra second to try this), but 99% of the time, the laptop just shuts down within seconds of the message coming on my screen. I work from home, so this has really hurt
