Windows 11 Slow playback since upgrading to Windows 11

Hi, I upgraded my laptop to Windows 11 approximately a week ago, and ever since playback of any video or audio has been relentlessly slow even if it's already loaded. This happens online only as downloaded media is running just fine, but if I upload them online and play them they're slow to start again. All my drivers are updated, and the laptop is running on the latest Windows updates, I've also run video playback troubleshooting and it detected no issue. thank you for your assistance.the processor is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHz, with a mostly unused 16GB RAM
