I have a non big brand 4k 60hz refresh rate 55" smart tv attached as 1 of 4 monitors. The PC recognizes it as a generic PnP monitor with a 2006 driver version. I have tried to update drivers to no avail, have also tried the step of selecting a driver from the windows list but don't know which to pick for a non branded 4k tv. I have put the TV in pc mode as well.
Every time i restart/shut down and start the pc, the display, Win10 Pro starts up with the tv at 24hz. I have to physically unplug and plug the HDMI cable back in and then it recognizes it as a 60hz 4k panel.
I wanted to ask, is this being caused by Windows logging it as a generic pnp monitor? which other driver can i choose from the list which will closely align to my 4k 60hz tv?I am also seeing some small lines flickering across the screen. Not causing any major issue but they do come infrequently
Kind Regards
