Windows 11 Snipped images wont save to computer.

I use the snipping tool to keep screenshots and remember important information. This computer is new, and I have found out that ti doesn't save my images anywhere on my computer. I would like some help as the only way I know how to save images is to paste them somewhere, like a google doc, but it tends to get annoying. Please help!
