Windows 11 Solution for anyone getting a popping sound when playing audio

I've been getting an annoying popping sound in my headphones whenever I start playing any audio after nothing's been playing for more than 10 seconds. I've looked all over the internet trying out any potential solution I could find, but nothing worked for me. That is, except for simply having the sound control program (mmsys.cpl) open. Yup, that's it, I realized that whenever mmsys.cpl is opened the problem disappears.It's not a "proper" fix of course but it works so I thought I'd share it here as I haven't seen anyone mention it anywhere.As for why this works, my theory is that the problem is
