Windows 11 Sort by date is broken after latest Store update

Another unwanted change is rolling out to Windows Store (22407.1401.3.0) and now the Sort by Date order in the Library page is broken - the app order looks completely random - I can't remember seeing something this basic not working before - are changes tested any more? Feedback already left but that's always a waste of time. Wsreset doesn't resolve.
