Windows 11 Star Menu - critical error

On left clicking the 'start menu' I get a 'Critical error' popup.Signed out as indicated but the pop up still the same critical error report is repeated.No problem for right clicking on the start menu. I can access everything that used to be there, but no left clickingPlease advise
