Windows 11 Static noise when upon pausing audio on windows 11 while connected to airpods

When I connect my air pods to my laptop and play audio, upon pausing, there will be static noise coming from the laptop speakers and can be heard faintly through the air pods. When having my air pods disconnected, the speakers are fine and I don't hear any static sound. Please help.
