Windows 11 Stop W11 download and install.

Yesterday (July 3, 2024}, without my permission, Windows 11 installed on my W10 laptop. I did manage to use the steps to "go back" and I was okay. I thought that was the last of that. Today, I was told to reboot to install W11 again! What do I have to do to STOP this from coming back? Now I will spend time waiting for the install to finish and "go back" again. I am a low tech user and do not want to mess with the Registry which scares me. I want a simple way to say "No thanks and do not bother me ever again.". How about an update that I can install which will take care of this?
