A short time ago, one of those 'Fake' Your-computer-has-a-Virus type pop-ups happened, and I pressed <Ctrl>+<Alt>+<Del>, ended the Microsoft Edge task and Restarted the laptop.Fast-forward a week or so, during which time everything "appears" to be working correctly on the laptop, and I noticed the following entry in the "ipconfig" readout:Ethernet adapter Ethernet: Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : D3-WDS12.COMWhy is an Ethernet adapter showing on the laptop when it exclusively uses Wi-Fi?Using some limited troub
