Windows 11 Strange unresponsive small icon on my desktop

For the last day or two I've been seeing this small icon on my desktop. It's less than a quarter the size of a normal icon which I've placed next to it for size comparison. Has anyone seen anything like this before?If I left-click or double-click on it, nothing happens. If I right-click on it, I get the same menu appear as I do when I right-click on the desktop.If I right-click the desktop and choose refresh, the icon doesn't go away, thus implying it's not just a weird artefact but an actively displayed thing from an active app.If I click on the far-right of the taskbar (to hide all open apps
