Windows 10 Sudden black screens after 10min-4hours gameplay (nvlddmkm display driver stopped responding and succesfully recovered)

Hi,


Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10850K CPU @ 3.60GHz

Asus z490-f motherboard

Msi geforce rtx 3070 gaming x trio

Windows 10 Pro 20H2


I just bought this new pc installed/updated all the drivers and windows updates aswell but can't solve this issue

Checked windows system log when the blackscreen happens i see this warning: nvlddmkm display driver stopped responding and succesfully recovered

I also tried;

Adding tdr registry key to regedit

Installing older version of graphic card driver

Did some performance changes in nvidia control panel

Format/reinstall windows

Manually changed gpu fan speed to max

But nothing worked.


After black screen happens system is not frozen but display not coming back until i restart pc. Also after every restart pc not starting normally,

instead i m getting this weird image(attached)

Is this a faulty graphics card or a software problem i m not sure but its happening 3-4 times a day and needs to be fixed.
