Hello, I'm running a year old laptop, pretty mid-range specs and suddenly in the past few days my performance has plummeted. The first thing I noticed was that games that I previously had no trouble with suddenly became incredibly laggy. Today I checked my task manager and realised that a single, empty tab of firefox was now taking up 20% memory, discord another 30%. It's a similar story with the CPU with 70%+ usage at all times with just a few apps that previously took up no more than 5% each.
