Windows 10 Suddenly my Windows 10 does not accept my pin and when I click on I forgot my pin the screen goes right back to the pin screen

My windows 10 machine will not accept my pin and when I click on “I forgot my pin” the screen goes right back to the pin screen * Changed to a question & moved from Office/Subscription
