Windows 11 Surface Go 3 black screen and cursor after logging in

I'm using Windows 11 Personal. When I power on my device, it goes straight to thw lock screen like usual. When I log in, however, the screen is black with no features other than the cursor. I can perform ni actions. No Start menu, no win+x menu. Nothing. It only booted into Safe Mode once, and that was the last time I was able to do anything on it. During this time I tried my best to follow previously submitted solutions, but none worked. I would also lose nearly a gigabyte of disk space per hour in the week leading up to this issue that arose today (23/10/03). One of the stand's hinges is bro
