i actually solved my problem of my fingerprint scanner was flagged not working under device manager. no need to disassemble the laptop. solved in less than 5minutes.here's how i did under FRESHLY INSTALLED windows 11. it should work on upgraded laptops too.1-delete any driver associated with fingerprint scanner. please tick the little box when deleting the driver from device manager. that tick box will delete any files associated with the driver you deleted.2-shutdown, turn it back on and immediately hold FN and repeatedly press F1 to enter the BIOS. disable FAST BOOT under BOOT menu.
