Windows 10 System image backup errors 0x80780119 and 0x81000033 in Windows 10.

When I try to create a backup system image using Backup and Restore (Windows 7) from within Windows 10 Pro, it fails with error codes 0x80780119 and 0x81000033. Apparently, the problem is that my Recovery Partition only has 29 MB of free space when the image backup utility requires a minimum of 50 MB. The Disk Management Console doesn't provide the capability to either reduce the used space in the Recovery Partition or to increase the size of the partition. Is there a safe fix for this problem? I would rather not try an untested 3rd-party partition management tool without first having a current system image backup in case the tool fails and renders my Windows C: volume useless. I last successfully created a backup image in March 2020. Something happened between now and then to decrease the free space in my Recovery partition.
