Windows 10 Systems freezing seems to be related to recent Windows 10 updates event log shows lots of ESENT 642 errors

My system recently updated automatically to latest Windows 10 updates on 12 June, and since then seems to be experiencing frequent freezing, requiring a hard report to get it going. The event logger reveals quite a few ESENT 642 event errors (see sample below). Could this be the cause? If so how do I fix. I applied the latest update yesterday for Win 10, and this has not helped at all! Please help.
