Windows 10 Tabs changing which desktop they live in

Hello, I’m not sure why this is happening or how to stop it. Basically I created a number of desktops to organize all of my tabs for classes. So for example, for Project A in Class 1 I put a chrome tab that has my research, the PowerPoint presentation, and a specific sticky note. Now times that set up by 5. I originally had all of the tabs in the same desktop, and then moved them around to be organized. BUT THEY WONT STAY WHERE I PUT THEM. If I open a new word doc in desktop B, all of the word docs I have open in all of the other desktops will jump to desktop B. Or if I open up PowerPoint for
