Windows 11 Task Bar icons disappear when switching to tablet mode

When switching to tablet mode and back the odd HUD icon or few on the taskbar disappear. To fix this I have to go on Task Manager and restart Windows Explorer.It is a 2 in 1 laptop running Windows 11 Home. ASUS support said it sounds like a OS problem and the entire device needs to go through cloud recovery. The device itself has already been replaced entirely once (so it has been more than reset) and both laptops were the same model and OS. Both had this issue. I don't know how to fix this issue and I'm not willing to entirely reset my computer yet again with the hassle and price of buying a
