Windows 11 "The Feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable Disk that is not Available"

I am trying to install the latest update of Visual C++ 2015-2022 Redistributable (x86) but each time I am greeted with this error message. Things I have tried to do for fixing is completely removing all installations of Microsoft Visual C++ and start from scratch. This only caused many of my programs to not work anymore and it did not fix the issue with installing so I reverted back to a restore point.Another thing to note that this does not only happen on Microsoft Visual C++ but the exact same error showed up when trying to install Express VPNs desktop application.
