Windows 7 The media is write-protected

Good morning, I have issues removing write-protection from my USB flash drive. It has no hardware switch for enabling/disabling write-protection, • diskpart • list disk• sel disk 2• attrbites disk• Current Read-only State : Yes• attributes disk clear readonly reports "Disk attributes cleared successfully" However, trying to clean and/or format the drive reports an error of "media being write-protected/read-only" again. Creating a key in registry for removable storage policies doesn't work either. Even after changing policies and rebooting, the flash drive seems stuck in its read-only state. I'
