Windows 11 The Microsoft Defender offline is stuck.

I found out there were malicious threats on my laptop (windows 11) so I initiated offline scan and now the scan is completed but still the defender is stuck at “Detected threats are being cleaned”. What do I do should I wait more? Or there is some error and I need to restart the scan?
