Windows 7 The most recent update of my desktop CS.com mail box is faulty.

Ever since the most recent update, I am having the following issues. I hope you can either show me how to go back to the OLD compuserve version, or to install an app instead of going through my browser to get to my mail (if that would help); to eliminate these new issues since update last month (September 2023 I think)1) my "new mail" opens half way down the menu of new mail. When I drag the bar up to the first email and try to open it, it jumps and opens a different email - it happens no matter where I am in the list of emails, the jump that is - and I wind up opening something I didn
