Windows 11 "The package runtime information is corrupted." When opening audio files

This error message pops up anytime I open an audio file. I've tried opening .wav, .ogg, and .mp3, and they all pop up with this error message. I've tried updating audio drivers automatically, and downloading Realtek drivers from my motherboard's manufacturer (MSI). I can run these files in a web media player, and I can access them on the web perfectly. I need these files for visual studio so I can add audio to my C++ game, but it fails to load them when I run the game. My specs (Custom Built Computer BTW):CPU: Intel Core-i5 12600KFGPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600\Mobo: MSI Z790 PRO WIFI DDR4SSD: WD_BLA
