Windows 10 the video i recorded using Snipping tool only saved 1min (total was 20). how can i recover the rest of my recording?

I used snipping tool to record a video and only 1minute of it was saved. I didn't receive any notifications saying there was an issue, and i was keeping an eye on the recording timer and it was working perfectly. when i stopped the recording to let it save, only 1min did and I lost the rest of it. it says the file was modified but i didn't modify it. Is it possible to recover the rest of my recording?
