Windows 11 The 'view thumbnail' function in Windows 11 Paint no longer works properly after the latest update. Is this a feature or a bug?

I frequently draw in Windows 11 Paint. I zoom in to draw, using the thumbnail to see how it'll look when it's zoomed out. Before Paint's latest update, the preview window would show the section of the drawing I was zoomed in on at 100%. Here is one of my drawings zoomed in.This is approximately what would normally show up in the preview window.And here is how the preview window looks now. The larger the canvas, the tinier the preview window, as seen here.
