Windows 10 "There was an error in sending your message"

"There was an error in sending your message" appears when I try to send a webpage. I right click and from the drop down menu select "send this page". Windows 10 Mail opens and at the top tells me there was an error in sending the message, even before I type in a "To" email address! If I click on "Dismiss" and try to enter a "To" email address, another message pops up suggesting that I choose the email I just typed in. But, when I click on that suggested email nothing happens. How do I repair a broken Mail 10 application? Thanks in advance for your help in fixing my broken Mail 10.
