i started to get this result after windows update went wrong and failed half way through "this file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action" amongst many other error replys. i cannot start any windows system files device man, disk management, computer management all hang then come back with the above error.
will not recover or reset
looked on web found supposed solution tried it:
del /F /Q C:\Users\Charles G\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\
del /F /Q C:\Users\Charles G\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent
del /F /Q C:\Users\Charles G\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\AutomaticDestinations
received this for my troubles:
Remove-Item : A positional parameter cannot be found that accepts argument '/Q'.

can open cmd but if i try to open in admin same result as top.
am administrator on sytem, only account
am lost cant go forwards or backwards, basically update has killed my computer for four days now and the forseable future. HELP PLEASE ive had enough of windows
