Windows 10 tiny black box appears on Google search screen

If i put the cursor on the heading Connections or a heading in favorites and move it down a tiny bit, a small black box appears. As soon as I move the cursor away, it vanishes.You can see it above the blue G in Google. what do y ou think is going on? i've attached a screenshot. Is this a driver problem? is it an indication of somethig that is corrupted.I don't care unless it's indicating a bigger problem.i put "devices and drivers' only because i don't see an appropriate category.It only does this on the Google home page that I've noticed. everything works fine and nothing stops functionin
