I'm using a Surface Pro 7 and I have the following problem:
I cannot hold down the backspace key on the touchscreen keyboard to delete the whole sentence. I have to tap it for the amount of characters I want to delete. This happens on following programs:
Regarding my keyboard settings, I already have Filter Keys and Toggle Keys turned off. I use multiple language layouts and I have set settings to switch between them using ctrl + a number.
I am not sure if this is some issue with the touchscreen keyboard or if the aforementioned services programmed something weirdly. that Microsoft could not have foreseen. I do not have this issue anywhere else. Regarding other browsers, Chrome obviously behaves the same and firefox is worse. Things are being typed in and I cannot see them. But that is a whole other issue.
Does anyone else have this backspace key issue? If yes, have you found a way to fix it? If no, then what do you guys think could be wrong here?

- Microsoft Edge - messenger.com which is also a Facebook website
- Discord - both the website and the program
