Windows 11 Trackpad randomly freezes unless I sign in and out of laptop.

My trackpad will all of a sudden stop working randomly while using my laptop.I have an ASUS TUF Gaming a15. I've had this problem since I bought my laptop (1y3mo ago) and have been few several windows updates, in which it has always persisted.Some observations I have made:- If I close the lid and then open it immediately afterwards and sign back in, it always fixes the problem- often but not always occurs when I am watching a video or in presentation mode in ppt- I can still use my keyboard - the system is still usable- I didn't accidentally disable the trackpad - if I disable and reenable not
