Windows 11 Trying to boot from an external hard drive, getting INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE BSOD.

My computer's motherboard has only one M.2 slot, so to upgrade my SSD without losing my operating system or data I need to clone the original (Samsung SSD 980 in my case) to an external hard drive (Seagate STJL2000400 Basic Portable Drive in my case) and then boot to that drive (by changing the boot order in the BIOS) so I can replace the SSD. The problem is that I keep getting an "INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE" BSOD every time I try to boot to the external drive. I used Macrium Reflect to create the clone and the clone itself seems to have no issues.What I've tried:- Turning off Secure Boot- Plugg
