Windows 10 TurboTax 2020 failing with Microsoft Installer error 1603

I'm getting this message when launching TurboTax 2020: "2020 TurboTax updater fails with Microsoft Installer error 1603". After HOURS of research, I'm getting nowhere and Intuit's TurboTax support site is useless. Can anyone help with this? Thank you.
