Windows 10 Turning on HDR on my secondary display effects color / brightness on my non-HDR main display

So I have an ROG PG259QNR HDR 1080p 360 hz monitor as a secondary extended display. My main monitor is an Acer X34 3440x1440p IPS display (2015 model).When I turn on HDR for the ROG monitor, the white point / brightness on my Acer gets noticeably brighter (washed out). Why would turning on HDR for another display effect the color/contrast/brightness of the other monitor?!?! Is this a known issue? Something I can correct for manually? I'd love to be able to use HDR on my secondary display without it ruining the image on my main display. Anyone have any ideas?(and yes my display drivers are full
