Windows 11 unable to boot from usb drive

TL DR: USB drive is working, but pc ignores boot order, goes to recovery. Hard drive boot partition deleted.Full story:After a night the computer starts up to require bitlocker code. I did not save the code. so decided to reinstall win11. Following some article online, I used diskpart to delete the original C drive. Changed BIOS boot order, and booted with a bootable installation usb drive. The USB worked at this step.However the usb drive does not recognize the hard drive, then I unplugged the USB, and tried to boot from hard drive, only to realize the partition has been deleted.
