Windows 11 Unable to create a system image to a usb mass storage flash drive, with the error: "This drive is not a valid backup location"

Hi, I recently purchased a USB mass storage device, to use as a recovery drive, but I tried to create a system image backup, but I get the error "This drive is not a valid backup location" I already reformatted it with NTFS, but it still doesn't seem to work.
